To PWI Staff Regarding X-Mas Event

I have just reviewed the event schedule for this coming Christmas. While I appreciate the idea of an event, I wish the staff may put more thought into it
Trade Bestowal (card #21) to receive Mysterious Chips x10

While I do not know just how hard it is exactly to obtain this reward but the possibility of flooding the server with an ridiculous amount of mysterious chips is a frightening thought.

First of all, please consider this. Mysterious chips are only available through the Cube at the moment. As a frequent cube user, I must tell you that the average cost of running the cube PER DAY is 1 million gold. And the maximum amount of chips one person may get per day is 20 (although the average is 5-10).

Do you know what the people who spent months of work, tens of millions, or even hundreds of millions of gold will feel when they see just about everyone running around with the best equipments in the game due to these chips? Will the best equipments even mean anything if everyone have them?

I have just talked to some of the most dedicated members of this community and our consensus is that if mysterious chips will flood the server during the event, we have no choice but to look for other games that provides more stability and fairness to all of its members. This is not a threat but rather a suggestion to the staff that tempering with something that can drastically affect the game as it is, may have consequences beyond what you might have anticipated for.

    If you're level 75 or higher, you can obtain the final set of cards, the X'mas World Cards (15-21). These cards are hidden in various monsters throughout the world. If you take an X'mas Card Set (1-7), an X'mas Wish Card Set (8-14), and any one of the following X'mas World Cards (15-21) to Santa, you can turn them in for special items. Note that all items come with a pack of 8 Monkey King pills OR Fat Bro pills.



    Trade Daylight (card #15) to receive a Christmas Guardian Charm

    Trade Air (card #16) to receive Perfect Cookie x20

    Trade Flora (card #17) to receive 8000 Spirit

    Trade Sola (card #18) to receive a Christmas Spirit Charm

    Trade Fauna (card #19) to receive a Chocolate Box (contains one of each Chocolate Candy types)

    Trade Human (card #20) to receive Mirage Celestone x7

    Trade Bestowal (card #21) to receive Mysterious Chips x10

    Looks like it's not that easy to obtain the 10 chips... Like... what is the drop rate of card #21?

    A carebear like you knows nothing about PK. I will not doubt that even with my armor off, I can **** you in two before you can run back to safezone. Maybe you guys can worry about trying to take down Belial for the second time ever while we get ready for 3-2 and 3-3.
    Looks like it's not that easy to obtain the 10 chips... Like... what is the drop rate of card #21?

    You will realize how fast loots drop when you zhen on 10+ mobs at a time.

    I agree, 10 chips doesn't mean much but since the cards can be traded, whats stopping anyone from getting 100 chips a day?

    This is what interests me more in the event.

    "Now, if you are diligent enough to gather all 3 sets of cards (1-7), (8-14), and (15-21), you can turn in all 3 completed sets to Santa to receive the ultimate prize: Blessing of Christmas, which grants you permanent +1% Crit rate!"

    +1% Crit Rate Permanently?? Even after the event?

    I give PWI the benefit of the doubt that event is a one time deal. Imagine a repeatable quest which gives 1% crit rate everytime....

    No, it says permanent. That means permanent.

    lets see u can get low lvl tickets once a day from xmas tree, mid lvl tickets once a day, and god know how long u have to spent farming those high lvl mobs for tickets

    with the amount of greedy ppl that around.. i wont be surpsied to see tickets sell for 100k each, 100k x 14 tickets = 1.4mil .. and wat were u saying about how much u spent at cube a day?

    The crit thing is going to be a bit ridiculous. If people spend $1000 to get lion mounts, I'm sure they're going to spend just as much on getting permanent crits, I bet we'll see an increase of 7% on quite a few people.

    No, thats for the tier 1 cards which can be traded among players. So you can bypass the once per day quest thing easily as long as you have alts/other people who are willing to trade them to you.

    The crit bonus will only be once, I'm fairly sure.. If it's more, then that's RIDICULOUS, but I'll exploit it if it is that way lol. I highly doubt it though.

    First of all, it's not going to be easy to get the specific cards you want. On top of that, you need to not only get the specific card for the specific reward you seek, as well as the two lower sets of cards.

    Second of all, you cannot repeat the entire quest and stack 1% crit bonus on top of itself over and over. It's an item that you equip into a slot. :)

    I understand your concern Deity, however I don't believe you have any reason to be worried about the rarity of the armor and gear you've worked to attain.

    Deity sounds like your afraid of ppl being able to challenge youb:laugh. On the serious side i know what your talking about too and it would be a bit of a shame but no major loss.

    Sorry but no specifics will be given out on these cards. I'm sure that if you spend enough time killing monsters here and there that you'll run across one. ;)
