Wizard *lvl16* How am I doing?

Stats:
Vit: 5
Str: 22
Mag: 52
Dex: 21
HP: 365
MP: 1243
Attack Pattern:
Gush, Stone Rain
--followed by--
||Gush, Pyrogram, Stone Rain|| (Repeated until something is dead.)
Questions:
How are these stats for a wizard of my level?
Am I going to need to start putting some points in Vitality to get some HP or something?
Is there a really good reason for me to use the Arcane armor over heavier armor?
Is my attack pattern alright?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

With your stats, it would appear you're a light mage? If so, your stats are basically fine. You need dex + str equal to your level +4, so at level 20 you'd need 24 dex and 24 str. In a light build you cannot possibly raise vitality or you cannot equip gear of your level.
Even on a robe mage (who can spare points because robes don't require the dex/str that light armor does) vit is a really bad choice because of how poor our con to HP modifier is.
The only reason to use arcane armor over light armor is that it gives you more stat points to put into magic (or vit...)
And lastly, you casting combo is fine.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
Because the bigger your damage, the bigger your epeen.0 -
The issue I have is that I started that combo and when the monster gets to me, my HP drops REALLY quick. Some way I can get around this?0

Always start with Gush.
If it doesnt slow. Run and Gush until it does work, and repeat.
(At least that is how I compensate).0
