stuck on craftsmanship

ok, so i've come to understand that you can lvl all 4 manufacturing skills if you wanted so thats what i started doing.

however,
now i have lvl 2 skills in the other 3, and level one in craftsmanship(might be another but doesn't really matter)

when i go to manufacture something from this craftman, it shows that i can only make lvl 2 craftsman items (which i can't because my craft is lvl1...)
except for arrows

so i made an arrow and got 0xp

what do i do : (

    You need to find a lower level crafter.
    Try one of the starting cities.

    You can not improve your crafting ability with ammunition crafting, nor with anything that you craft "quickly". (You can make a batch of ammunition in a second or two.)

    To improve your crafting skills you need to be making things that require your full abilities in that craft, and which you craft "slowly". These items will be one level higher than your crafting skill. (So when you have level 1 crafting you need to be making "slow" level 2 items to improve that skill.)
