Some questions

I'm downloading PW right now and browsing around to pass the time. Some things confuse me and I was hoping if anyone here would know the answer.

Question 1:
Do your referred friends have to buy zen for the referral to count? My friends are poor D=

Question 2:
When can an elf start flying?

Question 3:
Can an elf have bunny ears?

    i can answer questions 2 and 3

    Answer 2:
    they start flying at lvl 1

    Answer 3:
    Nope

    Aw man, so when you start flying, is there a skill button you press or something like that?

    yes, in the Actions(E on keyboard) theres a button that says fly
