how do I learn a skill?

    Every city has class based trainiers.

    Plume - Cleric & Archer trainers
    Ether - BM & Wiz trainers
    City of Lost - Veno and Barb trainers

    Apart from that, other cities (Arch and 1000 streams) and major towns also have all class trainers. You have to go speak to them and learn skills. They cost coins and spirit.

    If your question was about manufacturing skills (Blacksmith, Apothecary,Tailoring and Craftsman), you can learn them from the Elders of any of the cities.
