And its all because of Perfect World. Has it happened to you? I used to play in my console until I discovered this game, and now all my gaming hours are taken by it, it's insane!

So what about you guys? do you have any abandoned consoles because of Perfect World?

P.D. Xbox 360 owners may not abandon their consoles due to their usefulness as a heater for the house in the winter time. b:laugh

    Nope. My computer is my console. I've got a universal usb controller connecter, allowing me to hook up xbox controllers, gamecube controllers, or playstation controller to my computer. I have a gamecube xbox and playstation emulator on my computer and I sold my consoles years ago. (For those of you who think what I'm doing is illegal, no it's not. I own the games, paid real money for them, and run them on my computer. It's not illegal.)

    Might be a DMCA violation, depending on your definition of obsolete, although I am not a lawyer.

    I don't have any of the newer consoles, but I'm still having fun with the Armored Core series, Phantom Dust, and Legend of Mana. PWE can really get your attention, but sometimes it's nice to play a game when you don't have an internet connection.

    I'm moving this to Off-Topic, where it's a little more acceptable to talk about games other than Perfect World.

    These games rock hard core.
    Have you tried out the Final Fantasy series?
    That series is bomb :D

    I just finished FFXII, and I agree it was awesome.

    On topic, I don't think Perfect World will detract from console games for me. I kind of like playing with real life friends a lot more than on an MMO (though this game is definitely cool). There's just something better about sitting in the same room with your friends and trash-talking them =)

    Most of the time I'm playing games on my computer, since I only own a PS and SNES.
