How do you socket eq

can some one please tell me how to socket equipment

If you are referring to adding sockets to unsocketed EQ then you'll need to buy socket stones either from the cash shop or from other players, then take the EQ and socket stones to the PW Boutique Agent (next to the banker in Archosaur) then chose socket equipment and drag your EQ into the slot and the boutique agent will tell you how many stones are required. Each addditional socket needs more socket stones than the last.

To add soulgems you'll need to go to either the Tailor or Blacksmith depending on whether is Armor or Weapons. Chose 'Imbue Soulgem' then drag the EQ to the top slot and the soulgem to the bottom slot. It will cost you money for the service.

Personally I wouldnt go adding either sockets or gems to EQ until level 50 at least, you'll outlevel the equipment too quickly and will have a hard time recouping what you paid for it.( Unless of course you have a 3 star Eq or 1 or 2 star with really good effects). And certainly avoid putting any extra cost into anything unable to be traded i.e. rank 1 EQ and some quest rewards
