how do i get my sword?

after i start the quest its telling me to fly around to valcanic purgery but i havnt got the sword yet did i miss somthing?

    Hmm.. you can only get your Flying swords' quest at lvl 30...

    yeah i got it ha, it just kind of confused me when it told me to fly over the water fall to get to the npc when in reality i had to run to him before i could get my flight :\
