Ive heard that you can get your raptor or kirin to go 11 mps but they start at 9 and i think spurs just add 1 more mps. Where does the extra 1 come from?

it comes from the pet's level. like, when you buy a mount from the cash shop it's automatically level 1 and the more you ride it, it's level will increase up to 11. the higher level you get the less chance you have of being knocked off your mount when a monster attacks you and the mounts speed will gradually increase by level also. a spurred level 1 kirin has the speed of 10, but when you level it to 11 the speed increases to 11. same thing with the lower lever mounts, like the panther. level 1 panther speed is 8, spurred makes it 9, level it up to 11 and it will be 10mps. that's why you will probably see people selling "level 11" mounts at higher prices than a mount that hasn't reached level 11 yet.
