Is Glacial Snare a good spell to level up for a PvE wizard? better than sandstorm?

    Yes its one of the best.

    Eventually it will outdamage sandstorm but the 80% slow effect is what makes this spell so good, later on i think SP/gold are better spent elsewhere (level 8 and up) but its should be your opening spell for as many times as you can cast it.

    Great opener, and once its level exceeds sandstorm's it'll do more damage. It's also a good spike of damage against fire bosses everytime the cooldown ends.

    At 99 (oh-so far away) it loses most of its channeling time, so you will be getting it maxed eventually regardless for that reason if ya make it that far.

    Glacial Snare is a must... Its the first hit spell for all fights later
