You go to the skill trainer to learn new skills and to improve (level) your existing skills. Most skills have 10 levels of skill and each level costs gold and spirit to achieve. You wont be able to get all skills/level at once since there are level requirements.

The skill tree is only there for a guide and helps you plan. Besides info on a skill it shows what new skills/skill levels are gonna be available at later levels and helps you manage your spirit.

Learnt skills show up under your skills section (press key R I think) and from there you can drag n drop them to your action bars.

    Hope this helps. b:victory

the skills in the skill tree are not the skills that you actually have. the tree simply shows you what all skills "will be" available to your character. it also gives information about the skills such as what level you can acquire it, at what levels you can upgrade it, etc. you can't move skills from the tree to your toolbar, it's basically just there for information. the skills "list" (press "R") shows you the skills you actually own. this is where you move the skills to your toolbar.

to get skills you must go to your skill trainer and buy them. then once you reach certain levels (see the skill tree for that info) you go back to the trainer and buy the upgrades.

I feel stupid but I can't find the skill trainer for the Blademaster in the Starting town (Etherblade). Where is NPC located? I would be thankful for Coordinates.

Dont feel so stupid a lot of people have trouble finding things.....that is until someone tells them about the coordinates tool.

Bottom right of your mini map you have a green arrow. Click it. You get a new window. In the top right you have a space to enter co-ordinates you know and set a target. Useful for the quest NPCs, who's co-ordinates are given in the quest info.
To the left however you have a list of preset targets. This list changes as you move. If you are not in a town, it lists nearby towns you might wanna go to. In a town it lists different NPCs close by. Scroll down that list until you find the trainer and then double click his name. Presto. A new target has been set and it points you to your selected NPC.

All starter cities have skill trainers for the respective classes, and I believe I've seen skilltrainers in Broken Bridge Village as well (so my guess would be that the corresponding "near starter city villages" for the other races have them too).

In addition, there are skill trainers for all classes in Archosaur, Thousand Streams and Dreamweaver Port (i.e. the big cities that aren't starter cities).
Slow progress, game is getting way too grindy :-( Quests I still hope to be able to do some day: FB39, General Feng

Also, if you have a question, start a new thread.

Don't necro an old thread from 2008 to post off-topic questions in it. b:shocked

Also to use a skill tree
    1. Lift it out of the ground.
    2. Club your enemies with it.
    3. ???
    4. Profit.
