I was jsut playing and i see an announcement saying sombody and sombody are now married? whats the point of that just outa curiosity and how would you get married anyway lol it seems kinda pointless to me

    I think for most people it seems pointless, to be honest. And it costs about $60 of real-life cash.

    I don't know much about this at all, but I know to get married both characters have to buy marriage kits. I think married characters can teleport to their spouse's location too..... that's all I really know.

    On how to get married: Use the search function.

    On the point of it: Well, there is none, just as there is no point in getting an expensive mount or aerogear - except that it looks cool. Some do it for roleplaying reasons, some are married in real life too, some do it for *gasp* fun.

    Two of my charaters are married, both are married to my rl boyfriend's charaters. We are seperated by countries so it is nice to be able to be together even if its just online
