Logging in via Avant browser

I use Avant browser. I despise IE, and Mozilla has a nasty habit of freezing up on my computer after about 90 seconds, no matter what plug ins I get. However, the PW website will not allow me to log in from Avant, which is an IE-platform browser, which forced me to REdownload stupid IE-7, after going through the hassle of UNinstalling the danged thing.

Is Avant the only browser this is an issue with, or should I just forget about downloading Opera or Google Chrome in hopes that I can again trash IE??

Have I mentioned how much I really hate IE??????

    If you are having trouble viewing certain parts of the website, make sure you have the latest
    version of Flash installed.

    You may need to uninstall the current version of Flash that you have installed to prevent any errors from occurring. The un-installer is here: http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/view...nalId=tn_14157

    You can get the latest version of Flash at:
    http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/

    Once you download it, run it and make sure all of your internet browser windows are closed.
    After Flash is installed, start up your browser and see how the www.perfectworld.com website
    shows up for you then. If it still doesn't show up well for you, try re-booting your PC then starting your browser.

    Currently, we only support Firefox and Internet Explorer, although any web browser that supports
    the latest version of Flash and uses it properly should display it correctly.

    Another thing is to make sure that you have cookies enabled if you are having issues with viewing the forums. With the Firefox Browser it is under Tools > Options > Privacy. For Internet Explorer, go to Tools > Internet Options > Privacy. A setting of Medium should be sufficient

    Uhm...I think you misunderstood the problem. I can't log into the webpage from Avant... And, I have the latest everything, since I just got done reformatting and redownloading all the new and latest versions of everything...

    The Website shows up just fine on Avant...it just wont let me LOG IN...the shop ads, and the other things that dont require a login run fine...and it lets me log in from IE. The question I was asking was, if the game coding even concidered Avant as a viable browser, or if I am going to be forced to just "deal with" IE any time I need to log into the forum here...

    I just logged in through Google Chrome 0.4.154.25 and Chromium (most recent) without an issue using the default settings. Regarding Avant, my first guess would be to check your Javascript settings and make sure thoat aren't interfering with the login commands.
