BM Newb, Help?

I'm new to the whole BM scene and i was wondering what should be the stat distribution for a PVE BM who wants to use Swords/Duel Swords?
any help i would certainly appreciate!

    Monarch's guide (cited above) is a good overview to the class. For sword-type specifics, look at this guide.

    As a rule of thumb, for blades and heavy armor, you will need to average 2.5 STR and 1.5 DEX every level. The extra point per level should probably go into VIT if you are focused on PvE.

    naw you will never need the vit.

    after you get lvl 29 and your heal, i never used potions ever.

    except every 5 minutes, i'd pop one mp pot to heal all my mp =P

    EDIT: if anything, vit is more relavant in pvp

    Granted, the choice of where to put the extra point(s) after equipment requirements is not really critical and is room for experimentation with playstyle - some like to have more HP to stand up longer (particularly against magic attack mobs) and some like to get more damage done quickly to avoid the need for more HP. To wrap this up, that is why you read the guides and don't just blindly follow the stat point rule listed in a guide.
