What next?

Hey I am about to be a level 49 Wizard. I have maxed Pyro, Glacial Embrace and, Gush. Soon Stone Rain will be maxed out too. Any advice on what skills to level next, and how to use those skills in combos, would be appreciated.

    I'm not much higher but this is what I've heard or experienced. Emberstorm sucks, get it lvl 1 just so you can get to blade tempest. You can try it on a mob but it's suicide especially for a pure int mage. Glacial snare is nice. It does good damage and slows mobs by 80%. I forget what it's called but there is a spell for pvp that is recommended if you ever plan on dueling or pking someone. I only have 1 point in this so far but it has made my duels much easier to win.

    Thanks. What about the spells that are lower than req49 as well? Will of phoenix etc.? This worth leveling?

    Will of phoenix is up to you.
    Force of Will is the earth spell that should be maxed if you like pvp.. since at max it seals an enemy for 5 seconds.
    Sandstorm is probably the strongest single target spell, so its a good spell to add to.
    Divine pyrogram is nice only if you enjoy using essential sutra.

    Stone Barrier is a must, if you pvp.

    Yeah Sandstorm seems to be a good one. Ive heard differing opinions on distance shrink. What do yall think?

    If you plan on pvping a lot, distance shrink is a must.
    + Its pretty nice if somehow you need to create some distance between you and the mob you're fighting/

    Dont bother putting your 1 level into Emberstorm until you've finished you lvl 59 cultivation. Only then will you need it to unlock Blade Tempest.

    Sandstorm is better for PvP IMO as Glacial snare is better for PvE despite its long cooldown. Sandstorm > Divine pyro

    Force of Will is a great spell to use in PvE as well as it will interupt a mobs spell casting and cause them to run away from you (try and cast it when the the slow from gush/glacial snare has expired so the make more ground away from you, then gush them right after) it only really starts to get good at level 4 though as the casting time negates the sealing effects duration. Levelling this increases seal duration and reduces cooldown time.

    I wouldnt put too many levels into will of the pheonix until around 70ish as mobs are usually ranged/magical around lvl 60.

    Around lvl 60 if you're planning to go into AoE/Zhen parties then raise your Dragons breath to lvl 5 otherwise leave it as is.
