Can different races play together?

Okay so i'm a cleric and my mate wants to start up playing with me but he doesn't want to go the archer guy. If he goes one of the other races and plays on the same server is it possible for us to play together?

    Yes, but until level 21 you will not be getting the same quests.

    Yes, you can and will be encouraged to team up with other races, however, it will not be plausible to team up for much anything until level 20 and up. Due to the fact that this is a very quest based game, and each race has it's own set of quests for levels 1-19. After 20 all quest paths merge and you can work together for your quests.

    Yes. In fact, it's pretty much necessary to play with other races, since certain races have certain jobs. You need tanks, damage dealers, and healers, and no race has all three. Well, except for Venos, but that's in the sense that they're a whole party rolled into one, not that they can do it all for parties.
