short movie contest?

i posted this in the wrong place yesterday haha but anywho, Does anyone think it would be cool to have some sort of video contest ( maybee annuall maybee not ) were players make short films with recorded video, put their voice to it special sound effects and what not, i thought it would be pretty cool and enjoyable, does anyone else think its worth more thought and structure or should i just abandond the idea all tofether?

Sounds good, but for ppl like me who have never recorded a vid from a PC game or anything like that a bit of advice on how to do so would be appreciated. The closest that I'd know how to do right now is a slideshow of screenshots.

well do you know how to take video recordings? i use x fire for screenies and video but i believe this game has those features built in, so its just amatter of finding how to use them ( i dont kno whow because ive never botherd with them ) and getting camera angels you like story desing or whatever you feel like implimenting, then after that im assuming you have some sort of movie program on yoru computer like windows movie maker and witht hat you can make a splended movie you can also download more effects for that off the enternet thoug i no longer have the website avaliable.. hmm accually i do let me know if you want it, anyhow its just amtter of knowing how to do thsoe things wich shouldnt to hard to figure out and if you have some sort of microphone you can simply record yoru voice or have a friend or somne else do it if you like, ill get more into rules and what not if people accually pick up on wanting to do this. I used to have a webshow on youtube called Pissed Off TV so i have a little experience with these things if you need any help/advice im sure i can be of help.
