Mouseless and Agitated

Well, I just started playing a few days ago [Barely]. I say barely because I dont have a mouse for my laptop, and cant afford one. I just wish I cod use a PS/2 mouse but I dont have that port. Is there another way to rotate the screen? The touch pad is near impossible to rotate and the only time it auto focus' is when you fly the camera follows. SO is there a way to rotate with the keyboard? Or another auto focus method?

May I suggest looking for an electronics surplus store or highschool or community college during their garage sales? I've seen mice and keyboards ranging from a quarter to a dollar at those. There are also PS/2>USB adapters out there, although they might cost more than a new mouse.

In your UI settings window, you can remap A and D to rotate the camera instead of strafing left and right.

As for zooming, I have absolutely no idea. I'd love to be able to zoom from keyboard so I don't have to have a mouse attached to my system... (My laptop has no wheel...)

But, at least you'll be able to rotate the view.

Thanks for the correction on that one; I've gotten too used to WASD movement. Numpad + and Numpad - seem to do scrolling in and out, although depending on your laptop that may require the use of a function key or not even be there.
