    A regular Merchant. Just look for them in towns.

    what do you mean a regular merchant? where can you find them ? a merchant is a NPC? is there a merhcnt in the city of plume?

    Most cities have either 1-4 merchants which can be easily located by using the coordinates assistant within the game.

    I think there are 2 merchants in plume. Click on the locator assistant (upper right next to the mini map) to find them.

    I'm doing this quest too so I found this:

    Ok, Gathering Materials means you must first Buy a Pickaxe.
    You can purchase a pickaxe at the following merchants.

    For the City of the Lost - Merchant Fu (261 636)
    For the City of Plume - Merchant Lo (327 436)
    For the Town of Etherblade - Merchant Mu (445 901)
