Are Adawolf's good?

Alot of people seem to have adawolfs instead of Golems. Are these monsters good?

    Stat whise my scorpion, yes the one from the first mission, was infinitly better than the Adawolf, but the golem has slightly better stats still. I think most people don't even pay attention to the stats, either that or they just grab something new every lvl. Before I saw my golem's stats I woulda just stayed with my scorpion nabing a new dude every few lvls to compare stats. So yeah golem is better, not sure what the adawolf thing is about...

    I'm not too sure on this one, but I believe the adawolves develop a higher attack stat when leveled.
