A couple of issues

I have noticed during gameplay that when I am tracking quests I get disconnected from the server repeatedly. If I turn the track quest function off I don't get disconnected. The way I see it this could be due to one of two sources, I have inadverdently stumbled across a bugg, or it is a matter of timing. In other words, I got tired of being disconnected and turned off some features, (Quest tracking) and did it at a time when there weren't as many people online, which in turn kept me from getting bumped off. I'm not sure which, but I thought it was worth at least mentioning, since it has happened on more than one occasion.
My other issue is that during one of the sessions when I was being bumped offline again , and again, I used the optimize tab to smooth out my graphics. I was hoping this might help my disconnection issue and improve gameplay. It did improve gameplay, but didn't solve the disconnect problem. The issue now is that even though I don't have the optimize tab turned on everyone looks the same. Since noticing this I have tried to use the optimize tab and I get no response from this feature one way or the other, what I mean is that typicaly, when playing in normal mode if I use the optimize feature the screen goes black for a couple of seconds while the settings are applied. This has always seemed to be the case whether going into optimize mode or comming out of optimize mode. This is no longer the case.
My observation of the disconnect issue I am having is probably nothing I am not a programmer and most likely someone who reads this will get a laugh out of my "observation", which is fine with me, no harm no foul. I would however apreciate a response to my graphics issue so that I can try to clear it up. One of the features in this game that I enjoy is that everyone looks so diverse. It is almost as entertaining seeing how people project themselves as it is playing the game.
Thank you
Michael

To fix the "Best Performance" mode issue, you'll want to go to the System menu (bottom right cornern of the client, it's a button that looks like a pair of red-brown sticks in an X shape), then click System Settings (button looks like a green old-style computer monitor). The settings on the first and second tab should be set as you prefer.
Disconnect issue is harder to figure out without more information. Can you describe your network connection and ISP?[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

LOL, left out the important info. I am using DSL land line. ISP is BellSouth. Only one computer.
Thanks

yeah, i agree with you. i have been disconnected 10x withing 30minutes. I checked the internet connection and it was running fine. I also restarted the modem and laptop to make sure it runs smoothly again but within the next 20 minutes i get disconnected again to server. I noticed that when tracking quests, i do get disconnected.
How can i enjoy playing pw when i cannot maximize the time i wanted to play? Please do advise some solutions for it.0 -
Not sure if it will help but first of all have you tried a verify of the gamefiles from the launcher?[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0
