Heads/Faces by imported picture suggestion

Short story - I once seen a different(I think it was Japanese) MMORPG. It had a unique feature that allowed it to be different than all others. It allowed people to use their homemade pictures, usually only the face on a white background. After that, but not invariably, the person was suppost to put several points on the picture, like on the centre of the nose, define the shape of the nose, the hair, etc. But sometimes, it was not neccesary. People could also use pictures of famous people, anime characters, and they all looked quite similar to the characters in-game.

Suggestion - Wouldn't it be an original asset to the game if an option of creating a head by importing a picture, so that you could look like however you want to?

Difficulty of programming - While it might sound difficult at first, as far as I'm concerned it can be made in in-game face/head customization already. People just can't really create the same or similar effect. Therefore, via a picture, the game would automatically adjust all the sliders to fit the picture and allow the person to look like he or she wishes to.The whole difficulty of programming could be limited to automatically adjusting the sliders.

sounds complicated... but u can however put a picture into your folder and bring it up during character customization strictly to use as a guide while you move the sliders xO

You do know that's close to impossible to mimic that just by having a picture nearby? It would be better if you could do it automatically - It would be more accurate. AND it's a great new-player magnet. Why not?

It really isn't that complicated as it looks like, really. Even I could have done it.
