Class problems

I'm a lvl 24 mage and I'm finding it kinda tough. I am thinking of becoming an archer, but i heard that mages can pwn them easily. Can anyone tell me if this is true. I would also like to know if being an archer is fun and if they have good AoE attacks.

good aoe, well 1 good aoe they can only use in party really which is typically zhening (setting aoe to start and not stopping it for an hour as barbs/blades pull monsters into its range) wizard also has a similar move to do this, all dureing this time the cleric is using thier aoe full time non stop aoe heal skill
thats a lvl 59 skill, thunderous blast is another aoe, but not used much
AoEs are fairly rarely used outside of zhening

I found archer pretty easy to use and level, there can always be a few levels when life is a bit harder, but overall using the guides and always looking for good equipment (mainly a powerful weapon, rings that help a lot with damage)
as with every other mmorpg fighting monsters efficiently and money managment is important to have it easy

mage and wizard can often pwn eachother , one has low magic resist one has low physical resist

the most hard classes to find are high level tanks (barb) and sometimes clerics, after that venos are often useful (usually fairly easy to find one) then archer/wizard to deal good damage to make battles faster.

If used right an archer can pwn anyone. Dead truth. Yes, I also found mage VERY hard at lvl 25 or so.(what mine is at) I think a mage can also pwn of use right. It is a kiting class(why we have Distance Shrink) which I found not so fun but i never got our main kiting skill. As for archer I have a lvl16 and it is kind of hard but I imagine that it gets MUCH better after you get knockback arrow.(lvl19)

You are right. Knockback makes an archers life so much easier. The only problem, if any, you'll have is shortage of mana.

I'm no pro to say which class is better. But general MMORPG rules are that "No Class is Weak" and "No Class is IMBA" . Every class if played right should be able to hold its end up against the other. Then again there are situational instances which act favorably to one class or the other.

Every class has Good AoE skills, BMs is stacked w/ all the good AoE skills XD

Mage pwn archers, archers pwn mages.. circle of life.. whoever shoots first wins first. It depends on the character build and player's skill. Mages aren't that weak. You just have to be intelligent *just like a mage* to survive on grinding & win battles. and Play the class that you really want. Not just because it's strong, easy to grind or w/e. Every class has it's use.

Barb = Support & Dmg
Bm = Support & Dmg
Wiz = Support & Dmg
Archers = Support & Dmg
