Balanced build?

im a pure mage and everyone said we get good at high levels
but im lvl 49 and my spells still dont do that much damage and i still get killed everytime i pk
i feel like im all glass and no canon -.-

anyways i was thinking about restating to balanced build where its 2 mag 1 dex 1 vit and 1str
is the balanced build any good for pking and pve

would it take super long to kill mobs and will i run out of mp after killing one monster lol

i just want a balanced character where i can take physical and magical attacks at the same time do a decent amount of damage is light armor better then the balanced build?

and can i wear light armor with the balanced build.

sry about all the questions but being a pure mage is getting kind of frustrating and would like to try something new and more balanced instead of being a glass cannon and dieing with one hit.

Salamandrine - Sanctuary

i think mage first in 1-39 build more mag to train and then buld 2 mag, 2 vit, 1 str or 2 mag, 1 vit, 2 str to pk.
i'm wizard lvl 32 and my point 122 mag, 15 vit, 25 str, 25 dex

Neoxtemplar - Lost City

You must have 3 mag and 0.5 str added every level in order to wear magic weapons. The remaining 1.5 is up to you.
When ppl say wiz get good at High levels, its level 60 for decent pvp chance (sutra) and 80s when you have most your skills maxed that you really start to do well and 89 just owns.

However, this is game has a lot of grinding and you won't be getting to level 89 anytime soon.
If you want to be a glass canon, be an archer: long range, crit, high damage, and stuns>anything wiz have until lvl79.
Wiz are more like diamond canons (is such a thing possible?) that take months of training and tons of money to level skills/make +hp eq.
