Should I wait for new server?

I've played the previous version of perfect world...the English Malaysian version on Oracle(GodsPower lvl 90mg if you played there) and when the perfect world updater/launcher opens...I see there is a 3rd server called Etherblade. I was wondering if that is going to be made into a 4th server.
-I also find it funny how 2/3 server don't have any pking or pvp(i guess you could count dueling).
-But I just don't have any motivation to try and level up fast when everyone is so far ahead of the game...if it would just be better to wait until everyone starts fresh on what appears like a new server...but I haven't seen any announcements or anything.

    You can PK in the PvE servers, some people are white named all the time.

    well the main reason was because everyone else is already so far ahead in levels....but was wondering if anyone knows why they have that 3rd server listed on the updater...maybe when the update comes out the extra server is planned to be released as well

    The Gms already confirmed that the etherblade server will not be released any time soon. Due to the fact that Lost City server still has more than enough space to hold more players.

    I dont think it has been said any where when or what (pve, pvp ) the etherblade server will be. To be honest you would not be to far behind on Sactuary server as it is the newest one. Also Sanctuary and lost city both have room still and lots of people have left for the euro version that just opened. If you in an hurry to play i would try those.

    yea im already in lost city....but how old is the sanctuary server?....and also i heard lost city is far worse for pk than malaysian english servers....that's another reason why I would rather wait...

    You could be waiting quite a while for a new server to open up, no one knows how long it will be until another server opens up and whether it will be a PVE or PVP. I can't remember the date, but the Sanctuary server is only about a month or so old and it is PVE.

    Based on the fact that you're a PW veteran, you won't find any problems with the Lost City server, in fact, you may like it better than MY. The ones that say the LC server suck are the carebears that rolled on the PvP server, then complain about getting ganked and say "Oh this server is horrible people PvP on it!"

    well i never had a problem getting pked on MY english server....just because I was already at a decent level before lots of people started random pking...but I don't think I'll have much of a problem anyways...the only new problem i face now is zhenning....i basically bought my way leveling to lvl 90 thru zhenning...and it doesn't appear as many people will be zhenning because the prices are so high...but I guess that has nothing to do with the new server....and it's not possible to pk on the PvE servers?
    But yea I'll think about starting on sanctuary

    I wish that you Lost City people would STOP calling us carebears. It is really offencive and it feels like getting called the "N" word.

    ok firstly i'd a thought that when etherblade server does open that it would another pvp as there to pve and one pvp, so just to even things out.... but who knows, have to wait n see ......



    secondly, since this game is so much like wow. i would to see only saying tho dont jump me or anything... but i would like to just like on wow server that pw have an oceanic pve and pvp and the rest all us or such .......

    The truth is the truth. If I was black, I wouldn't mine being called the N word as long as it's not in offensive context or tone.
    If you feel offended by being called carebear, you're in serious denial and immature. If you weren't a carebear or at peace with that fact that you are a carebear, you wouldn't give a ****.

    Well right there is the reason there are different servers.

    Not all people who play games are teenagers.

    Not all mature folks want to PK. And yeah, it's PK and that's ALL it should be called - Player Killers. PVP implies some sort of mutual consent - at the time of the incident.

    What's nice is that they let all of you Killers on one server and leave the rest of us alone.

    I have enough **** in my life being a 49 year old female in the construction world and really don't need the juvenile mindset of PK, PK, PK - Come - Yah Noob!

    I usually solo most games I play online and don't want to be bothered by people who need an online rep as a PKer.

    But you want it and do it other than where I'm at, it's all good.

    As long as people get the kind of experience that they want they should stfu and leave the others alone.

    Oh yeah - it doesn't take balls to get killed in a free to play game.

    It takes balls to hang cable 50 to 100 feet off the ground on a busy street with all manner of maniacs driving by your worktruck, Games <shrug> it's all just fantasy and a diversion.

    Having a high post count doesn't make you anything in the game.
    Unless you're attempting to kiss up to a GM and you KNOW what that makes you    . :D

    Lost City, is basically, amazingly top heavy, and doesn't have too many players. It's also fairly overrun by bots due to its powergamey attitude.

    I chose to play on the more crowded carebear server, and it's pretty chill. If you know what you're doing, or know people who also play the same server, you should have no problems catching up.

    Frankly, I would advise avoiding Lost City like the plague. Full of bots and no lifers. You said you played on Oracle? Imagine a server full of Warlord members.
    Everyone here is ridiculously oversensitive.

    the new server would probably be a pve. i doubt it will open soon so just make a character in sanctuary, you wont be too far behind.
    The white names in the pve servers will give you a good fight if you're looking for pvp.

    pvp servers never get full to the point of needing another(when there are pve servers to choose from), too many bots and angry little kids in there

    I agree the new server need to be opened with the expansion. When the expansion come more people will come in game most of them in LC server. And i dont want to see the server to much overrun. You know what i mean.

    I suspect we have a new factor that may influence the populations here. The EU version of PW is just getting started and so far has stumbled a bit. If they get their act together you will have people leave just because they get better performance on a server that is located closer to them. You also have the "it costs too much on PWI" complainers that may tolerate worse performance to save a little money. I suspect the growth here will overshadow these people who leave but the growth rate may slow enough that they cannot justify a new server. Too many other games expand too quickly and then have to go through the pain of combining dead servers.
