Keep getting disconnected constantly

How do I prevent my characters from being disconnected every few minutes.

I'm currently playing PWI on a laptop using my WiFi connection and it runs fine for the most part (even if I'm having difficulty with my Thray_Walsh character as I stupidly put the Safety Lock mode on and it still won't remove itself even after following the instructions)

    First, look at your laptop manufacturer or wireless card manufacturer's website for any updates. Try getting closer to your WiFi router or access point, removing sources of 2.4 GHz interference such as microwaves or cordless phones, or switching to a wired connection.

    As for Safety Lock, once you've set a new Safety Lock timer, you have to wait 72 hours. You don't need to be online for that period, and can log on and off in any combination you want, but there's a 72 hour delay.

    I also keep getting booted out every few minutes. I like the game but this is very annoying when I can only get about 10 min constant gameplay. I have a new comp, running vista and my internet doesnt give me any problems with any other mmorpg I play ;-/.

    Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?
