Update Problems...T-T

hi hi~ i'm a newbie here! nice to meet you x) anyways, i'm sorry if this question has been asked before. i think it has... except no1 answered it ._.

okie, going along.. whenever i click the downloaded pw icon thing the starting menu thingy majigy pops up along w/ a message that says:

New patch found
Really to update now?
[Update now]
[Remind me later]

and then when i click update now this is what happens:

Update settings

Update server: [patch]

o Update automatically
o Manually select server
o Resume unfinished updates

i clicked all of them, two of them, one of them, etc. and none of them works -.- after i click confirm... it says....
..................................
[..................................]
[..................................]
Preparing to update

and then after a few seconds it says:
.................................
[.................................]
[.................................]
Unable to close upda
Update interrupted


if you can help me i'd be REALLY grateful =] please and thank you <3 ^^ i tried searching on the forum.. and yeah.. nothing really helped me >< (no offense) i mean i reinstalled it and stuff (not the whole 5+ hour waiting direct dl thing) just redl it ._. and i dled the 1-28 manual patch too and that didnt work either so yeah. >< i'm out of ideas now. please and thank you in advance =]

    omgosh THANKS SO MUCH XDD THIS HELPED ME =DD now i have to try to start the game T-T

    i am having the same problem but the first manual patch said same client so i am really confused anything else that might help?

    If you have patched already and it is still telling you to update, click on Verify in the front end menu, and let that process run. It should then let you proceed.
    Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?

    i downloaded the new patch and it didnt work so i tried the link for the updating-fixing thing but that just screwed up everything ._. so if this happens again can someone help me?

    There are normally quite a few people like gattsuru and the GM's of course here. Just give a description of your problem and there will be someone trying to help. You maybe asked for more specific info from those who answer though.
