How do I obtain threads and grease?

Is there an easier way to get these items besides the random monster-kill drops?

    if u must kno there is not other then buying it in the boutique or other players but im tryin to put a thing togeather currently for this sorta problem im trying to find good drop spots and list them so ppl who want them can get them easier i will be trying to go all over Heavens Tear but im not too high yet so i will not be able to go everywhere but i will hopefully have tier1-3 items soon in a list my name is I_Love_Pets pm me ingame if u need anything ok thx

    Thread and Grease Is Dropped, It is a Random Drop from Many of the Mobs, Nooby Area mobs Drop Tons Of Greases *=How i made 15k the first day i Played*, alot of mobs in the Post Nooby Areas *5+* Drop Thread, It is a Random Drop Get to Hunting *Make a Char and Level it up to level 10 Just Grinding You'll See What I mean*b:bye

    Grease is usually dropped by bug/plant type mobs. Kuhu are great to farm for grease. Try farming wolves, skeletons, and Ursogs for thread.
