Weapon and Armor Recommendation for pure wizard

As there are different weapons for the wizard which one supports the pure magic build best ?
also i'd like to know how can i identify if an armor part is right for me does it have to be named as "arcane" or can i simply identify it by the values it adds

should i stick to armors and weapons i get as quest rewards or buy craft some?

Plz write down some appropriate gear weapon combinations for the pure magic build

The weapon is your personal preference(I like glaives the best due to good damage and they just look the coolest) but you should keep your crafting level up so you can get legendary items. Also the weapons you get from quests will always be better until you get to the appropriate level for a more powerful one.
As for the armor 'arcane' is often referred to as 'robes' (the only armor for a pure build) and it is always at the bottom of the trade list/crafting window and has the most magical defense.(Which pays off in later levels as you find more and more magical attacking enemies)
One other thing: from level 15 on you should always keep life powder (an early apothecary skill)and the best potions for your level.(I find that the red and blue are the best, the purple is too expensive)
