I'm not normally the type to post in forums to try and generate support for something; however, X-fire (IM program for gamers) adds support for games based on requests and the number of people that "bump" that request in the new game support forum. If your an X-fire user then login to their forums and bump the thread requesting them to support Perfect World. The thread is located here:

to the person that PMed me and let me know that I needed to manually add PWI to my installed games list in X-fire. First game I've ever played that X-fire didn't automatically detect.

At first I had mine manually detected by switching the PW-MY source file so it recognized PWI...then I heard that it supported PWI and I went and changed it. It works fine for me. :3

Autodetection seems to work most of the time. I've had some issues when the program's in an unusual location, but the default directory is seldom a problem.

Can you detail your installation method and operating system, ambianceforce?

There is PWI Support, I just turned on my Xfire to see and it's there. Here's your problem.

As stated by Gattsuru, it depends on the file location. Default location for PWI is "C:\Program Files\Perfect World Entertainment" - However if it's not in that directory it's not going to automatically pick it up, it's an easy fix and it takes like two seconds.

On Xfire, click on Tools - Options - Games
Let the list load then double click on "Not Installed" and bring down the entire list, type in "Perfect" and it'll be right below that, click on "Manual Setup" and change the "Game Path" to the directory that PWI is in, and then hit "Apply"

There you go, PWI is now on your Xfire.
