Soul gem question

OK so here is a question regarding soul gems. What are the best gems to imbue to armor, a gem that gives an evasion bonus or physical defense bonus? And for that matter how about for weapons? Any thoughts from the crafting gurus?

I'm a level 31 blade master axe wielder and I'm about to add gems to the lvl 30 *** armor i got and Im not really sure which to use. b:thanks

    I'd say it depends on your blademaster build. If you have mostly all of your stats in DEX, maybe you should stick w/ evasion. This makes you vulnerable to casters though. If most of your stats are in STR, the perhaps phys def would be better.

    I'm no crafting guru but the advice should still be sound.
