changin cloth color

ok I got a chipao yesterday and it says I need 8pigments to change color
fine..
started buyin pigments and am like..
I want RED chipao..
and when I go to the npc for changin cloth colors..
it says got 1/8 n am like ..
but I got MORE THAN ONE >_<"
how does it work???
tried drag few pigments to the color slot didnt work...
so
how does it work?!?!? am spendin TONS of coins on colors n dunno which color fits the pigment colors for chipao n which not so I donno what to do

    if you want a red chipao you need 8 red pigments in your inventory. The dye panel should detect all 8 automatically. I usually have mine of the same colour all stacked together in one inventory slot, so maybe try that.

    For some weird reason when i changed the colour the first number was the required amount and the second number was how many you had. so if it requires 8 dye and you had 10 then it would look like this 8/10

    Is there anyway to get 8 red pigment other than spend a ton of $$$ and hope the pigment you get from the CS is a red ? I hate randomized stuff because if i spend real life money I expect to get what I wanted.

    The game is free, but there are some items that can only be bought with RL money. However, most of these items can be purchased from other players who spend this RL money. Also, you can use ingame coins to buy the gold that is used in the cash shop.
