What Build to Use?

What armour and build would you recomend? I perfer to solo if that helps. I'm using heavy armour at the moment because I read somewhere it makes you stronger in fox form. Is that true? Also, what weapons are the best for venomancers?

I currently use the robe build and I solo quite well. I can solo normal mobs 12+ levels bigger than I am and elite mobs in instances about my same level. For a Veno your weapon is your greatest asset to help with damage. Get the best you can afford, make or have a Guildie/Friend craft for you and try to get it with sockets and either put Wood Damage or Magic Attack Stones in it. Put the best stones you can in that you can afford or the weapon will take. Look at the weapons at the blacksmith and it will tell you which weapons would be best for your level. Look under the "Magic" tab. When you get near level 60 then start looking for groups going to Twilight Temple and when you can, craft your green glowing sword.

I also use a robe build and solo just fine, I can usually take on mobs of my own level and a little higher without a pet and not really take on much damage at all, with a pet I'm virtually unstoppable ... it all depends on your playing style I guess... if you prefer to use foxform then maybe you should stay with a heavy build...... just watch out for those magic slingin' mobs.

Vaelissa - Heavens Tear

There are several good paths to choose, I personally use light armor with resistance accessories and hp stones. The magic damage is still high enough to easily solo anything around your level and you will be much better in fox form than a robe user. It's a very versatile build.
