Bow, Crossbow, or slingshot?

I just made an archer alt. and I need a bit of advice. I usally play fighter types, so archer is a new area for me.

Bows don't seem like something to stick with for the long haul. I'm thinking about going crossbow, but slingshot has much higher min. damage even if it is slower and has a higher dex req.

What do most people go with?

I use all three

Two reasons:

- it lets you use all three ammo types (level 19 so far, and I've never had to buy or make any ammo)

- Different weapons seem to be better at different levels. Initially it was the bow ... then the sling ... then bow again ... now it's crossbow ... I'm always using the weapon that gives me the best damage. Though I gather the FB19 crossbow (once I get it) will do me for like 20 levels, so we'll see what happens then

There's no difference in skills, so you can switch it up all you want. Only downside is using the inventory space to carry the extra weapons and ammo

its all about personal preference and play type.
bow is average attack speed and decent damage, and often are the most visually pleasing
xbow is a bit slow(but if your a skill spammer that doesn;t matter) but has a mcuh higher max attack
slingshot is faster but has low max damage but has a good average damage but also has a higher level req

the fb19 xbow is ussually the best bow you are gonna have until the 30s bow with the obvious exception of the 22legendary moonlight bow but thats way to expensive for a new player and is a very rare boss drop

Bow Until LvL 20 Unless You Get The FB 19 Bow

Then Bow To 20-35 Then You SlingShot To Like About 59 Then Crossbow All The Way

Crossbow Gives Maximum Range And With The Range Increases DPS= DAMAGE PER SECOUND
