I haven't heard a PM respond from Xarfox so I'm posting my question again here in case another GM can respond to it.

TW rule clarification please
I do not know the reason why you lock my topic when it does not violate any forum rules.
It is important for the staff to address the issues instead of dodging it.
A lot of players want to know if hiding in the catapult is glitching the game, ie: if it violates the rules of the game.
All you have done is dodging the question and said that if any suspicion, the GM will review it. If it is violating the rules then simply say so, then nobody will dare to do it. If it is not violating the rules, then please also let us know.
The question raised is so clear and simple. Hiding in the catapult - allowed or not. It doesn't matter if your ruling makes sense or not. Since we play your game, we have to abide by your rules anyway.
Hopefully, the community can get a clear answer on this issue before next week's TW.
Thank you.

"First and foremost let's not start a flame war on the boards. Now we realize that a lot of our players are originally from PW-MY where a lot of things were not policed. We here at Perfect World International are dead serious about fairness and glitching.
We will soon be revising the Territory War rules in order to include the abuse listed in the above post. In the future, if you ever see anyone abusing this bug, please submit screenshots via our Customer Support Ticketing System at:
http://support.perfectworld.com/ticketing
We will look into each report and investigate every case we receieve. The Territory Wars page will be updated later today to reflect this new policy change, and any offenses from this day forth will be dealt with swift and serious repercussions."
I believe the bug mentioned in his post here is the one you're talking about ^_^ if you go to the thread you can see what was posted to get this response.
I'm assuming that since he called it an abuse that it is a no no.0 -
No, Xarfox initially called it an abuse because he was not awared of the Alt-Click. Later on, he simply said to report to the GM if any suspicion, and the case will be reviewed.
There is no official word about whether hiding in catapult is allowed or not.
EDIT: This is Xarfox's final stance on the issue before he closed the topic:Xarfox wrote:If anyone ever sees something that they deem to be unfair or fishy in Territory Wars. Take screenshots and send them in. This does in no way guarantee that some sort of punishment will be dealt. What it does guarantee, is that a GM will look into the issue and evaluate whether or not any true foul-play occurred.0 -
xarfox is around but please don't raise a ruckus when your PM's aren't answered.
for starters, please understand that your typical Admin with a forum presence receives somewhere between 50-200 PM's a day most of which are from users who are requesting 'personal' Customer Service type attention which is really not what users should be contacting forum admins for. While we do read EVERY PM that we receive it is not realistic or feasible for us to respond back to every message.
also as someone has pointed out this issue has already been responded to (on several layers) by xarfox and other admins.
thank you for your understanding on this matter.Remember, posting on these forums is not a right - It's a PRIVILEGE!
