Armor Glow?

so im hearing lv5 shards makes armors glow? or does it have to have 3purp stars...ect

    Lv5 equipment and up for glows/auras.
    If you put 2 of same gem, it will have a aura/firey effect of that gem color. With 3 sockets, it will have some sparkling effect (not sure the details about this one).

    From what i Read, Armors don't require amount of stars, just a total of lv10 or higher and glow is accordance to the color gem you put in

    To make armor glow, it just needs 2 sockets. You have to put 2 of the same type of gem in the sockets. The gems have to be at least lvl 5 (meaning the armor also has to be at least rank 5). You do not have to have stars on armor to make it glow. If you put two lvl 5 gems that are different in an armor you get a sparkly effect instead of glowing. I also believe that if you put 2 lvl 7 gems of the same type in an armor you get a swirly effect. I don't exactly remember if this is correct because I haven't tried it in a long time.
