Pet: Holding Agro

Hey there. Does anyone know which attack skills on pets are able to hold agro better?
I want to know this because my Wolfing and Sawfly are starting to lose agro sometimes (giving me a hard time) and I was wondering if maybe a crystaline magmite might be better (since so many ppl have one.
Is it even skill specific or are there certain pets that hold agro better? Anyways if you could make an ordered list of the best pet skills that might help or alternately you could tell me which pets start off with the better skills cause the skill books are expensive. The second choice is preferable simply for economic reasons. My current selection would be wolfing (starter), sawfly, magmite (don't have yet) but if there's anything else better, just tell me.

I've been noticing a little of this as well, you send your pet in and some mobs will try to ignore it and target you directly.... I think it's just a case of the higher level the mob, the smarter it gets.... it's actually a dumb move if you think about it though, if the mob is focusing on you with your pet still attacking and slowing it down, you can concentrate more on attack and less on pet heal...... you can try a golem..... it's sheer size might make it a little more difficult to ignore, but they move so slow if a mob did ignore it, the golem would have a hard time catching up with it while it's going for you.b:shocked0

Are your pets below your level? b:question Bash should keep aggro unless you crit a lot. Roar is a skill that helps the pet attract aggro as an alternative.0

Definitely get a golem asap... I'm surprised ya don't have one at lvl 40. I'd also send the pet in with a secondary skill, then it'll use it's auto skill right after. Should hold hate fairly well as you nuke. Just don't overnuke and ya shouldn't pull hate. But even if you do... Having Summer's Sprint on is a good idea to kite a bit til your pet gets hate again. And like a previous poster said, Roar is a good skill for keeping hate if you can afford it.0
