"Channeling -3%"

I found a ring that says this. What is "channeling"?

    I think it means the time it takes to fill the bar at the bottom is 3% shorter, which means you "chant" 3% faster. How lucky are you to get a ring like that!

    You mean improved casting speed? It's strange that nobody seems to actually know what it does, it took forever until you came up with something that still starts with "I think" :-)

    On a more general level, does Perfect World have *bad* attributes on items? I'm currently not using the ring even though the magic attack beats the two rings I have, simply because I didn't know what it does...

    Usually skills have a channeling time and a casting time.

    I think channeling is the time it takes to get enough magic into the skill's bar and the casting is the time after that. Your ring will most likely reduce the time taken to cast by 3%.

    As a veno I guess it might be useful to you. For a barb like me, it would be a waste of money to have a ring like it (upkeep gets expensive when stuff has better stats)...

    - channeling makes you cast spells faster thats all.

    If you want to sell it im looking for 1 more level 30-50 magic ring with - 3 channeling
