Anhira did you read what I said about the costumes? I quote "it is kinda lame that there are different level requirements for different costumes" however how does it make sense to you that PWI staff would purposely create the halloween clothes with different level requirements? **Deep within PWI's evil lair** "Hmm, how can we better confuse and alienate our lower level characters who are the future of this very new game? I know! We'll make the free costumes have different (and higher!) level requirements! Brilliant!" I can almost guarantee to you that when they added the time remaining coding to the halloween costumes they completely forgot to even think about the required levels. That is the only *LOGICAL* explanation for why the costumes have different levels. Give the PWI staff a break, they aren't perfect. Also, as pointed out if you cannot wear your costume at the very least you can sell it back for 3k gold. Further you do get the free +30% damage buff to help you to level faster regardless of level. Lastly PWI staff has to make the raffle "win" statistics (defined as you getting something good) very low otherwise the market will become too saturated with the Halloween items. As it is now you see way too many people riding around with Midnight. If they gave everybody a Midnight then it wouldn't be special at all.

And as to your idea that the only people who think it was fair are people who "benefitted" from it then you're silly (as above, everyone can benefit from the event). Between my gf and I we put in $12 USD and got a whole bunch of the +500hp/mp candy and some of the candy that is only good to sell back to vendors for 12.5k/box. Those +500hp/mp candies are great I don't know what you're complaining about, they work on a cooldown seperate from potions and grant their hp/mp instantly, if you're about to die taking one might give you just enough life to runaway to a safe place. My guess is if you hang onto them for 3 months or so you'll be able to sell them for 1k+ each if you're not interested in using them.

Actually I prefer to level up the natural way. My husband and I both work hard to level up the hard way...we do not cut corners. We fight, we die, we come back and fight again. But we do not cheat to level up. As for those costumes...I have a female character of every race...therefore recieved a stupid Fairy costume, just to prove they were all the same. No benefits there.

The treats I gave away...simply because I choose to do things the natural way...not cheat my way to level up.

What is Yes? Unfair? Well I say unfair. I got a costume I can't wear until I gain 6 levels!!! Why couldn't they give me the lower level costume so I could wear it???

Plus, I don't have enough resources to participate in much of what Jolly is giving out. I thougth the Halloween special would be something fun that everyone could participate in. But it it is not. Sucks.

Ok...my hubby and I went to him...got our costumes...but for some odd reason the guy gives my hubby a costume he can't even wear....why is that? How fair is that?

Secondly...this Stallion....Midnight..........we have been working extremely hard to get one. Between the two of us...we have spent well over 400,000 buying these Guardian Angels....only to get some stupid gift box, treat or something. We've not even come close.

Is there something we are doing wrong? Should we be paying Jolly Old Jones the 100,000 coins instead of getting him the Guardian Angel?

I mean he does ask for either...but as soon as we buy the angel...we do not even get a chance to return to him and talk to him...it is automatically taken from our inventory and replaced with some stupid gift box or treat.

So how fair is it that he gives out costumes to people who cannot even wear them, as well as this whole Midnight business?
for the love of God people, you made a poll to see if LOTTERY is fair???????????

Exactly my point! And it's a shame too that something like this would cause someone to actually leave a game. Especially one that is fun to play...but one has to admit...despite this stupid little lottery thing....EVERYTHING is expensive to buy in there. I mean come on...think about it...take Mystical Meat for instance.

That item sells for 800....yet to actually buy it from one of the shops...they were actually asking over 3,000....in fact one place I had seen it going for over 4,000 coins. That is simply outrageous. Some of these people actually have no common sense when it comes to selling products. Sure I understand you want to make a profit...everyone does...but come on now that's outrageous.

And the Mystical Meat wasn't the only item I had seen like this. Many items were like this. Even when you go to the NPC's to buy things like the potions, weapons, etc....those can be a bit pricey....but atleast they are better than what the players try to charge.
so go get items you need yourself,i've seen people asking 10k for mystical meat, had a good laugh because no one is going to buy them, but if you want quest items fast you pay for them, and other than selling stuff from item mall it's exellent way to make money,o and if you think that npc's charge too much (????) learn tailor or blacksmith or crafting skills and make it yourself, and just to save you from crying about not being able to find materials for it,this is a web site that gives you locations of monsters and what kind of items they drop , www.pwdatabase.com/pwi

In my opinion I believe those who actually think any of this is even remotely fair is those who actually got any use out of the items or got lucky and was able to receive Midnight.......I could be wrong....but this is my opinion.
i sold my costume to npc, just like everyone else got use out of attack+ thing and i never even enter raffle because i knew most likely it would be lost and i think it was fair, just like someone earlier said spending all your money dosent guarantee that you win

First off Id like to say Im a lvl 37 veno and I haven't dropped a penny into this game. Not one! I have a good time playing have made a couple of friends and I have about 700k in game money in my account. The only thing I might, might drop real money on would be the battle pets but I wont know until I see em and think about it.

When they first announced the Halloween event I thought kool, I'll give it a try. That and the announcements every 3 seconds that someone had won something kool was enough for me to at least talk to the jolly guy. After talking to him and getting my charm (Actually kinda good) and that stupid tinker bell outfit (which I dropped in arch for anyone to pick up) I decided that it wasn't for me.
I think the whole argument about fair or not is superficial. A couple of people have posted that its all up to you weather or not you want to play. I decided early on that I wouldn't play or pay real money on this event. Others decided different and are now unhappy about the outcome. I will say (And I didn't know this until I read this post) That the different levels required to wear the costumes was a big opps on PW's part, but you decided to play and you didn't fair so well so maybe next time you'll think harder before you impulse buy. Just because the candy is next to the cash register doesn't mean you have to buy it!

Now I'm not trying to say that anyone who feels ripped off shouldn't, I'm saying that next time before you decide to try something think it through first. Weigh all your options then make an intelligent decision. Don't depend on someone else's judgment of whats fair. What PW thinks is fair and what you think is fair is all relevant. Whats fair to me isn't whats fair to you and vis verse.

To me you cant blame them for ripping you off when in so many posts so far, I've read that they're known for ripping people off. You let your self be ripped off and you spent your good hard earned money again and again even when you didn't receive anything for it except for junk.

Fool me once shame on you! Fool me twice, shame on me!

It's a lousy attempt at an analogy, but if you put money in a parking meter and it doesn't register anything (Its broke) you don't keep dropping money into the the thing!

    Or do you?

If I've pissed some people off It wasn't my intention. I'm just trying to make a point and I hope I did.
