When I log onto my Cleric the game crashes

Title says it all. I can log onto alts just fine, so I have no idea what the problem is.

    Please update your graphics drivers, and click Verify on the Launcher. Pressing "W" while logging into the character sometimes helps; don't ask why.

    my drivers are up to date, I'll try verifying, and I've also tried holding W, thinking maybe I was just in a buggy spot.
