Um, no, server maint was last night until early morning California Time. Servers are up and running and populated with a ton of players.

If you can't login, did you update/patch your game client on your computer?

Please check out the instructions here, and we also have a link to the download guide there too.

Do you have any software or hardware firewalls running? Make sure they're not blocking port 29000.

You may have to re-install the game and patch if you perhaps got the patches messed up.

Make sure you downloaded PWI from here: http://perfectworld.com/download/client

Once you have installed Perfect World International, you will need to patch the game up to version 24.

You can download the manual patch from here:

http://perfectworld.com/download/client you will want version 1-24 if you have a fresh install.

Make sure you have the game shut down.

Double-click on the patch file on your computer once you have downloaded it.

The patch will start up the game and apply the patch. This might take several minutes, be patient.

Then you should be good to go.

All right. Can you download nmap and use the command "nmap -p29000 -PN pwigc3.perfectworld.com" within its zenmap GUI.

I downloaded nmap and ran the command and got the following:

    Starting Nmap 4.76 ( http://nmap.org ) at 2008-10-22 20:52 Eastern Daylight Time
Warning: Hostname pwigc3.perfectworld.com resolves to 8 IPs. Using 64.74.134.54.
    Interesting ports on 64.74.134.54:

    PORT STATE SERVICE
    29000/tcp open unknown

Nmap done: 1 IP address (1 host up) scanned in 1.28 seconds

I still cannot log in. Please help.

Was there any anti-virus, software firewall, or other 'pop-up' when you activated nmap?

No pop-ups from AntiVirus or SpyWare shields

Worked. Opened port 2900 on my router to my PC.
Should have read FAQ before. Thanks again.
