massive drop rate nerfs are ruining the game.

Is it just me or has there been a constant reduction in dropps on this game with every patch?
It's sad that I could make more in game coin at lv 1 per hour after costs then I can make now at lv 58. I guess that is my fault for deciding to play a cleric as my main instead of a veno, and because I won't cheat or scam other players by overpricing things to make myself money.

It's also sad to see this so called "event". It's not an event, it's a marketing ploy. An event is something that anyone can participate in, not only the people making large amounts of money in game or whom have massive amounts of money to waste from their real life budgets.

I can't seem to understand how this company can intentionally make things harder and harder for people, and still hope to keep them as players. I love this game, and have made many friends here. Unfortunately, as a person on a fixed income, my real life budget allows very little for unnescessary expenses. Now with the ongoing reductions in drop rates, in game prices continue to escalate, gold prices in game continue to escalate, and more and more it seems I spend my time here wasting my time. I can't work at my char in game for a profit. My last attempt at gaining exp resulted in 3% and a net loss of 37k of in game coin in the hour of gameplay. Dropped items were not even enough to make up for the cost of repairs and pots spent!

Not that there is any reason to make this post, as it has proven that PWI do not care about their customers, only their profit margin. Keep up the good work fattening your wallets and ruining a wonderful game. I am sure you can set yourselves up for a year or two in savings before your idiocy shuts down the servers.

As you level up, the monster you kill has a lower drop rate. If the monster is green name, the drop rate is lowered, dark green is pretty much nearly lootless.

Exactly. This is to promote commerce between players and prevent high-farming by players at all times. Some people fail to understand that, though.

The only exception to this rule is the wraith events, I believe; which is why they are so popular.

Also, I don't know about you, but I wasn't making 250k an hour at Level 1. I wish I was.

I am, as I allways have, hunting at the minimum even cons. The hour in question I was hunting yellow/orange mobs in the lv 62-64 range.

I understand why green mobs shouldn't drop, but even cons and mobs higher?

And I wish I could understand how people can make that much without ripping other players off, I have never made 250k in a day, much less in an hour.

I get lucky to make a profit of 30k a day.

Me in good grinding session will make (as a BM god I wish i could be a male Veno) abotu 20 - 100k an hour (maybe a bit more), this is after replacing the heiro I have lost, all the reparirs and any other small things.

And I generally make this selling the majority of the stuff to NPC.

so making money in game isn't super hard.

Go east of tusk town and fight the magic-atk mobs (58-60) there for elemental essences. Sell to lvl 47+ players who need 10 of those for the quest at ~5k each, which is what the going rate is.

The drop rate is great, I've picked up over 125+ drops when I was there from lvl57-60. If you don't want to sell it to others, sell it to npc for 2.5k each. I still make profit even when buying triple-bladed arrows for 24 coins/each, 24000 for a stack of 1000 arrows.. and that doesn't include equipment repairs. It wasn't uncommon to make out with a minimum of 75k

Stop fighting orange mobs. Obviously they're wearing down your gear faster than you can kill off a good number. Don't repair your gear every single time you go to npc... only when needed. Fight in a party so you're not taking hits.. etc etc etc..

Not sure what's going on but I've been fine at the level you're at.

I tried the even cons outside of tusk town. While the magic attacking mobs (gilded princess, etc) are no issue, the rock throwing gang members (being physical attack) kill me faster then I can heal. Also.. The area is so massively camped that there were little to no mobs for me to kill, and my kill rate on the mobs there is the same speed/time per kill as the lv 62 flying mobs over dreaming. I was attempting the higher level mobs, as I couldn't get dropps at the even cons as of today. Yesterday, I was still making a profit at both even and slightly higher mobs. Today, almost nothing is dropping. And the drop rate seems to get worse with each patch.
I think they are trying to force people to have to use the cash shop to play. I will use the cash shop, to help support the game, when my budget will allow it without taking food out of my children't mouths.

    As far as other groups..

Even though I am a cleric, it is still hard for me to find a group. When I do group outside of the few decent people I have found, I end up in a group of people generating more drama then a soap opera or reality tv show. The continual whining about how they want (insert x drop here) to sell when another party member actually needs it is ignorant. If there is a member in a party I am in that needs/can use something to better their char, I give it to them. Need before greed. Just like real life, I refuse to hurt others to help myself. I won't group with white names if I can avoid it, and I refuse to even look in the direction if a red named person. I do not promote or condone killers.

At this point. Being a lvl 7x cleric. I spend a ton of my time running around the world healing for parties in my guild, in HH burning charms, and OMG the charm burns in zhen parties... So at this point I'm totaly broke.

But whenever I can manage to sneak away an hour here and there for solo grinding. I can net about 200k in dropped items in a little over an hour. Sometimes only 100k depending on my luck with drops. It helps w/ the TT (HH) and zhen heiro and pot burns. Plus skills at this lvl are really expensive. And no that profit is not by "over-pricing players". I rarely make a stall or use the AH. That's from vendoring it off to an NPC.

I believe that item cost between players is all about supply and demand. There's nothing wrong with something being expensive in game. It's really boring if everyone has the same stuff. You can't really say "omg look what I got :) ", or "yep look at all my molder gears" if everyone has the same stuff... b:sleep

Also, you have to factor in the time it took for someone to get those drops. If it's so simple and easy, and the price is so outrageous, then dont buy from the players and go farm it. If you can't farm it yourself because it takes too long or is too hard... then maybe thats why its expensive?
