Question: Tabby Plumdrop? What? Where?

Ok i just.. er... my bucktooth lynxus actually, killed a tabby plumdrop i was trying to tame cause it didnt come back to me when i clicked follow..
All i saw was a little brown thing run past so i followed and seeing it was both adorable and catchable i wanted one of course~ |D

So this has now brought up a question..
WHERE did it come from? ive never seen one before!
It was so dang cute! D>

I was so dissappointed when it died.. x_x
Is there anyplace where they spawn more?

    its a rare mob. it should spawn in another 12 hours in generally the same area

    you may find the area around 370, 690 an interesting spot...

    yesterday I wanted so see where this location is, so I went to sparrowmark beach an there were two venos... five mins later there was a whole bunch of them and I watched the tabby being tamed... T.T
    (that was at 12.50 CET... go get the kitty!)

    My tabby was rampaging around on the Silk Ridge close to it's mountain side spawing point. That pets knows how to get around lol.

    If your pet is in auto or defend mode, here's what happens:

    You order pet to attack.
    Pet attacks
    Tabby attacks back
    You order pet to follow
    Pet follows
    Tabby attacks back again
    Pet auto-defends and starts attacking Tabby again
    Tabby dies

    For follow to be effective in the middle of a fight, your pet has to be in manual mode.

    not that I know of; it has two spawn points, I don't want to search for the thread with the locations now. maybe you've seen it near the spawn point you didn't know of yet?

    I was wondering, what is Tabby good for? I know the little guy is fast (and cute b:chuckle), but what else?

    I saw it at silk ridge of course, it was circling the hill for all i know but I didn't even know it was rare till now. and I found out how to stop the thing. I tried chasing after it in normal form and that didn't help so I chased it in fox form and that didn't help, so I have a tamed Bloodthirsty Adalwolf (faster than players) that I summoned and i ordered it to attack it and stopped the kitty but then I stowed summon and the kitty beat the ***** out of me and I died.
    ive waited for 20 minutes and still no kitty... any one know the exact path?

    1.) It does not spawn at Silk Ridge.
    2.) b:sweat Please do not necro. Start a new thread. People sometimes get snippy if you necro.
    3.) It spawns on Sparrowmark Beach and one other area.
    4.) b:shocked You got killed by a rare? Har har. Keep your pet out and start taming at 50% hp (if you're the only one there).

    If I get killed by a rare pet I would personally quit the game.
