Pet tameing skills

Alright I may be a noob but I am not without common scence.

I need some help though, I am level nine, I have a pet short tooth kitten. (found the egg that someone dropped) Anywho, I have pet heal, and pet revive, why can't I learn "pet tame" so I can get my own pets? The level requirement tells me it's seven. I've done the spirit adept quest, already so I have all my lv 9 skills.

It's not that I cannot afford it in spirit either it's that it does not show up what so ever in the avalbe skils for puchace, why is that if I may know.

    There's a quest from the Pet Trainer or Pet Manager to learn the Pet Tame power.

    but I did the only avalarabe quest, and I did not learn the skill, why is that?
