DQ "Mission Already Taken!" ???? wtf

Alright, I just killed striped spider king for Yatzu DQ "Overwhelming Power" and right after I had someone help me kill it I went to my quest log and it says in red "Mission already taken, Unable to complete this quest!"

I went to DQ director to see if it was just a glitch of some kind and see if the npc would just let me finish it anyways. I went to DQ director with my surprise there was a yellow flag over his head and when i click to finish it it prompted me with "mission taken!". Someone recommended trashing it and redoing it, but I put 30 dull claws into this DQ and I'm not about to waste that.

Soooo, if anyone has had this problem or is currently stuck & clueless like I am please let me know thanks. If a GM can help me that would be awesome.

    Anyone figure this out? I'm at the very last part of the mission and I really do not want to trash and start over.

    Actually I just figured it out. Above the DQ quest there was like, an invisible quest. You could click it and it would highlight the empty text, and their was a bullet it front of it. I trashed that quest and it allowed me to complete the actual quest.

    I can't click the empty quest and my problem remains. Any idea please???

    I had a problem like this, but it was with the Easy Rider Pack. All I keep getting are these useless Lucky Tokens, and I'm not getting a motorcycle.

    And if I do use one of them, there's this message that says Mission Already Taken!

    Any idea what this is all about???
