Having problem lvling pet

I am lvl 40 veno, and have a lvl 39 antelope pup. His exp bar is 900/900 but for some reason will not lvl to 40. Anybody got any ideas?

    As far as I'm aware, the pet must always be at a lesser level than you are. So, when you hit level 41, it will go on to level 40.

    No, pets can be the same level as you. Try killing one more mob and it should level.

    Kill a level 40+ monster for it to level.
    Main characters
    Celestial Sage Venomancer Zoe - 100
    Sage Barbarian Malego - 91

    If the mobs are too low, your pet wont get enough exp to push it over 900. Like Zoe said, you need to go for higher level mobs.

    ty for the replys he is 40 like me now I was helping a Squad member lower lvl than me lol.
