I have noticed a habit for online games to have there manuals online as well. The problem with this is that the manual sections are all full of background eyecandy that devoyers ink if you try to print them. Also the sections are broken up in such a way that one will have a single paragraph while another has five pages worth of info. I'm posting to see if anyone else thinks that the basic game manual should be condensed into a simple pdf file that could be downloaded and printed with ease. (I appologise if this topic has been posted before.)

I don't know if they'll do that anytime soon, but you may try to copy (Ctrl + C) the text you want from the manual, and then Paste (Ctrl + V) it on a word proccessor application such as for Windows, Notepad. Don't forget to put credit to "Perfect World International" in there! b:victory

Honestly I think this would be a nifty collaberation project. I'm up for brainstorming a manual if anyone else is and posting it.

It's not really our responsibility but information about this game is so scarce its getting to the point that I'm willing to get off my *** and put information out there.

    Uhm a manual for what?

Just press the help key in the game and the whole interface and many other topics are covered there quite niceley.

If you mean things like quests/mobs/other advanced things, goto the numerous fansites out there already like 1perfectworld etc.

The online 'manual' is fine.... IMO... though there are ALOT of 'hidden' features in the UI where if you DON'T read the 'manual' then you may not find the hidden tools they have put in....

Go through the online 'manual' one page at a time, alt-tabbing and doing each thing you see there once or twice should get you solid......

    Add this site: http://pwdatabase.com/pwi
to your bookmarks. This site is a mostly accurate database for all mobs and items in the game, where items drop, off what mobs, % chances...maps and locations. Includes crafted items, rare drops, and more.

When Modus takes in a new member, we make sure they know all the cool toys in the UI..and are familiar with that above mentioned site, and we share alot of info on our website.
