What is the difference between fox and caster? What are the stat differences? What are the differences in roles? What are the pros and cons of each?

Wow, you can't research it and infer those things for yourself?

    Basically it works like this...

Fox is for melee with the exception of a few cursing abilities.

And humanoid is for casting spells.

Both forms can cast cure on the pet, but the fox can't cast spells / use abilities from the humanoid form. And similarly, the humanoid form can't use the fox abilities. Most Venos stay out of fox form unless they're running from point A to point B due to the vast increase in physical defense that the fox offers. Generally you don't see people in fox form unless they're trying to do a heavy armor melee DD build.

Ok thanks. So Fox is more defense oriented and human is more offense oriented?

You have the same stats in both forms and can switch from one to the other at will. The fox grants more melee def/acc and lowers max mp. And then limits the skills you can use to the fox tree only.
