Well, I followed the "HERE" link in the FAQ, but... it doesn't seem to work.

I do as instructed: I send my pet to some target. let it swing a few times (this is for testing, so I'm not trying this with the darkbreed wolves), then dismiss it. Pet vanishes --- but the monster does NOT come for me, it just heals its damage and resets.

I'm sure it must be something stupid...

    If you're too far away, it won't come to you. Try standing a bit closer but still far enough away so you can recall your pet before the mob gets to you.

    Ah... ok, I'll try that :-) I just "followed the instructions" down to the letter, got myself a telescope, powered up the bionic eye, established the satellite link and kept my distance from the target :-)

    EDIT: yep, that was the problem. Darkbreed wolves are history now, and I might actually try that quest that takes me inside that den. I wonder if these are instances, or whether stuff respawns while I try to clear my way... but that should be easy to find out.
