No options at Pet Skill Trainer. Now what?

I'm a Lvl4 Venomancer and I've done everything just like the guide in the Sticky says. I've been through everything on the talk with the Pet Skill Trainer and I just do not get the option to select a scorpion or wolfling. Any suggestions or ways to work around this? Someone else posted this same problem and never got an answer.

    I found out the problem. I wasn't getting all of the options. I exited back to the Main Menu a few times and then I had a chat topic that had a scroll down tab with more choices.
